A Slight Change of Plans and the First Giveaway to Enter!!!

I've had a lot of help from a new friend pulling off this one year anniversary celebration!

A HUGE thank you goes out to Mindy, of the Child Training Bible!!!  She has been helping me contact people and has given me a LOT of feedback as I've thought through the best way to organize the giveaways.

That being said, we've made a slight change in how this bash going to look.... and I think it's going to be better for everyone!!!  Every few days we'll announce a new resource that's going to be given away here on the blog.  A link will be placed on the facebook party page that will direct you to the proper page to get entered to win the newest giveaway.

That means:

a) the awesome people who follow When You Rise, but don't have a facebook account, will still be able to participate!

b) you get to enter as the resources are announced instead of having to wait until September 6th to try to enter all of them.  This will hopefully give you more time to look over why I love each resource so much and make sure to get entered!

There will be 5 winners of this one because Mindy has put together a fun combination just for the giveaway!  Each winner will receive a "Tab Together" set where you get 2 CTB Chart Sets (one set for you and one set for a close friend), so you can make your CTB together!  How fun is that?!?!  (Note:  You won't find this option for purchase on the site.)

The basic idea behind the CTB is that different topics are "tabbed" and marked in your Bible so that you can take time with your child to see what Scripture has to say about certain issues like the gospel, anger, pride, and obedience, just to name a few.  There are questions you can use to prompt you in a discussion of the passages you read and it's a wonderful tool to teach kids to go to the Word when they have a question or problem.
