One of my pet peeves is when people "dumb down" a story in the process of making it kid-friendly. I'm all about the kid-friendly part, but I think kids can understand so much more than we give them credit for!
On top of that fact, it's easy to spend a lot of time at Christmas spending a lot of time on other things besides Christ. Truth in the Tinsel does a great job of going in depth with the details and importance of Jesus' birth, while breaking it into bite-sized chunks that I even included my toddler in last year. It's heavy on the crafty-end of things, but by Christmas morning, you have a whole tree full of ornaments that your kiddos have made to remind you of what Christmas is all about!
If you'd like to see more of what Truth in the Tinsel is all about, check out this introduction or my reflection from our first three days of doing it last year. It'll give you a better idea of what it's all about! Christmas planning may not be at the top of your priority list right now, but this resource is too good not to include in my favorites for the giveaway!
Amanda has graciously agreed to offer 5 downloads of her Truth in the Tinsel ebook!!! Enter below for a chance to win and you'll be so glad you have it come November!
