A Resource for Christmas That You Don't Want to Miss! (It's early, but we're giving away 5 copies!!!)

Last year a great new resource came out called Truth in the Tinsel to help teach young kids all about the meaning of Christmas.  It was created by Amanda of Impress Your Kids who is one creative lady and I really think you will love it!

One of my pet peeves is when people "dumb down" a story in the process of making it kid-friendly.  I'm all about the kid-friendly part, but I think kids can understand so much more than we give them credit for!

On top of that fact, it's easy to spend a lot of time at Christmas spending a lot of time on other things besides Christ.  Truth in the Tinsel does a great job of going in depth with the details and importance of Jesus' birth, while breaking it into bite-sized chunks that I even included my toddler in last year.  It's heavy on the crafty-end of things, but by Christmas morning, you have a whole tree full of ornaments that your kiddos have made to remind you of what Christmas is all about!
