Peaceful, Painful Discipline

God showed me the importance of parenting with the gospel in a whole new way a few months ago.  (I wrote a series about it called Gospel-Centered Parenting under our For the Parent page.)  But, like most areas of my life,  frequent reminders are necessary to help me keep things in perspective.  This article, by Grace Driscoll, was a timely reminder of how the way I respond to the Lord's discipline sets an example for my boys of how they should respond to my discipline.  I highly recommend taking a minute to stop and read this one today!
