When the Mundane in Life Gets to Me

Today was pretty run of the mill around here.  I cleaned.  The boys played.  I changed poopy diapers.  I bathed both boys.  We read books.  I did laundry.  We ate lunch.  We shared a few laughs and had a few meltdowns.  Nothing out of the ordinary.

On days like this I can sometimes feel like I'm not doing much for the Kingdom.  Sometimes the monotony gets to me.  I've struggled with the fact that I got a degree in theology and I'm not using it in full time ministry.  (You can read more of my heart and thoughts on that here.)  This song, by Caedmon's Call encourages me so much every time I hear it and reminds me that "everything I've dreamed of has been right before my eyes."  You can read through the words below, or I highly recommend taking 3 minutes and listening to it here.  I frequently find myself belting the refrain as I go about my daily chores.  :)
